Florida Bright Futures

The Florida Financial Aid Application for Bright Futures and other state scholarships and grants opens October 1 of your SENIOR YEAR. You do not need to already qualify for Bright Futures to apply. Please complete so you can continue to be evaluated for Bright Futures. You have all year to meet your Bright Futures requirements and test scores can be used through August 2026 to qualify (Class of 2026)

  • Bright Futures Scholarships
    • Bright Futures Scholarships are awarded, based primarily on academic achievement, to recent Florida high school graduates who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at a public college or university in the state. Scholarship amounts vary based on GPA, scores on college entrance exams, service hours and other factors.
    • The FIRST STEP is to complete the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA).
    • Completion of the FFAA will also provide access to other scholarships and grants.
