FBLA* | Mr. Mallo/Ms. Witfoth | 354 | FBLA, more formally known as Future Business Leaders of America, is an academic club where student's interests in business and technology concepts are practiced and reinforced through membership. This club is nationally and collegiately ranked. The main focus of this club is to introduce members to different aspects of the business and technology world through social and charitable events as well as enhance business skills through seminars and an annual competition. Membership requirements: Currently taking a business/technology course or previously taken a business/technology course. |

Students are given opportunities to get involved in medical competitions, becoming a HOSA officer, and being involved in our many community service projects. Students also, are able to develop leadership skills and learning to collaborate with other members of the club. |

National English Honor Society* | Ms. Byrd | Media | The NEHS is the honor club for students who love English and are interested in promoting literacy and writing skills We volunteer in the community and are community service focused. Membership is by application which will be available at the start of the school year. |
NHS* | Ms. Shoup | 237 | The National Honor Society club recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Character, and Leadership. NHS is dedicated to continued academic excellence and service to community and school. Members are selected annually during Semester 2. Eligible Juniors and Sophomores (Current 3.2 Weighted Cumulative GPA and no Level 2 or 3 Disciplinary Referrals) receive an invitation via MyLearning notifying them of the opportunity to submit a request for consideration of membership. |

Spanish | Ms. Romero | 339 | The Spanish Club proposes to promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the people and diverse cultural productions of the Spanish-speaking world. It also proposes to contribute and encourage the study and appreciation of the Spanish language. |

Thespians* | Ms. Prendes | 435 | The purpose of Thespians is to build students’ performance skills through coaching, performing, and competing. Students involved will build teamwork skills, responsibilities, and a sense of commitment. There will be periodical informational meetings at the beginning of the school year. Additional time commitments will be set following those meetings for rehearsals for performances and competition. Anyone who meets all requirements is eligible. Requirements include a 2.0 GPA and regular attendance to come into the drama room (5-209). Or contact a thespian officer if you’re interested in joining. Benefits include induction into the International Thespian Society and many opportunities to showcase acting, singing, dancing, and technical theatre talents and earn volunteer hours. |
