AAI 2026 GIRLS GOLF SEASON

Tryout Information & Interest MEETING

Student Athletes must try out each year — including returning players.

Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026
Time: 12:50 PM (During 3^rd lunch)
Location: Room #160 - Coach Klein’s room

✅ Tryout Criteria Players will be evaluated on:

• Overall golf skills (driving, irons, short game, putting, knowledge of game and rules)
• Scoring ability and consistency along with pace of play under 2 hours for 9 holes
• Effort, attitude, and sportsmanship
• Coachability and teamwork
• Accurately keep your own score and opponent's score during qualifying and matches
• Understand basic rules and golf etiquette

📌 Team Requirements

To try out for the team, athletes must have all ATHLETIC CLEARANCE PAPERWORK completed and cleared BEFORE THE DATE OF TRYOUTS. This information is found on the AAI website under ATHLETICS. Angeline Academy of Innovation (6-12)

Equipment: Bring your own golf clubs/equipment, dress code is golf attire
