Be sure to check the eligibility requirements specific to the colleges you are interested in!!
Many colleges & scholarships require an eligible score on the ACT or SAT. Pasco County Schools pays for all juniors to take the SAT during the spring. The ACT is not offered on a school day but is available on Saturdays. Students may register and pay for the ACT and/or the SAT on select Saturdays. There are income-based fee waivers for both tests. Students may apply through CollegeBoard to request a fee waiver for the SAT. Students interested in a fee waiver for ACT should see Ms. Ragusa. If you are interested in registering to take the ACT or SAT on a Saturday, please visit the sites below:

All sophomores take the PSAT during the school day in the fall. The PSAT is practice for the SAT. Research shows that students who take the PSAT get better scores on the SAT. Juniors may pay to take the PSAT in order to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.
The CLT is a college entrance exam that can be taken online and lasts only 2 hours. Students in grades 11 and 12 may register online to take the test. Here are some links to find more information: CLT Home Page CLT FAQs
